Local Business Manager, Barclays Bank, Brighton, England
Before I went into training I enjoyed my role as Commercial Bank Manager for the sector Local Business. The main components of this role were sales, business development and risk management. During that period I attended numerous networking events and held a position as chapter director for a local networking organization. At the same time I studied for my Masters in leadership studies and took the opportunity to design and run team building events with my team of 19 business managers.

Account Executive, Kimberly-Clark, Brighton, England
I entered the corporate world as Account Executive for this American company, overseeing the Order To Cash process of the largest German retail group. As Customer Service agent I worked with Key Account Managers of Hakle-Kimberly in Germany and colleagues based all across Europe.

Sales Assistant Manager, Laminate Flooring Direct, Brighton, England
Sales, price negotiation and people management were needed in this commission-based sales role for a medium-sized company. In the highly competitive flooring industry I dealt with a wide variety of clients such as tradesmen, private customers, floor layers and professional builders. As one of the very few women in the trade I learned to make a stand as sales women, to be persistent and thick skinned and use my organisational skills.

Professional Photographer, Austria and UK
During my university years I completed a three-year apprenticeship in photography in our family business in Austria. With 19 I was responsible for the management of my own studio including staff members; already interested in constant development and growth of a business, I regularly tried out new marketing and sales strategies. Five years later, I worked for a photographer in Brighton whilst finishing my studies of Philosophy.
